社會福利署轄下的兒童發展基金旨在促進弱勢社羣兒童的較長遠發展，從而減少跨代貧窮。

The Child Development Fund (CDF) under the Social Welfare Department aims to promote the long-term development of children from disadvantaged backgrounds, thereby reducing intergenerational poverty.

基督教香港迦南堂獲社署委托，於北區及大埔區承辦「第十批兒童發展基金計劃」，計劃中的學員將儲蓄$4800，營辦單位會額外籌募$4800配對基金，鼓勵學員及幫助他們實踐理想。

Commissioned by the Social Welfare Department, Christian Canaan Church Hong Kong is operating the 10th Batch CDF Project in the North District and Tai Po District. Under the project, each participant saves HK$4,800, and the operator need to raises an additional matching fund of HK$4,800 for the children , so as to help them pursue their dreams.

自2022年承辦計劃起，迦南堂已幫助200位學童及超過150位家長。其間教會亦有各類型青少年服侍，包括義補、升中課程及興趣班組，服侍人次每年超過1000人次。

Since undertaking the project in 2022, Canaan Church has supported 200 students and over 150 parents. Meanwhile, the church has also been serving young people through various ministries, including tutorial classes, secondary school transition programs, and hobbies classes, reaching over 1,000 service attendances per year.
